Spent the weekend in Big Bear! This weekend was real fun. It's a shame that my clumsy self had to sprain an ankle playing ball a day before we left for the trip. But I ended up snowboarding anyway 'cause the boots kept my ankle secure enough so that it didn't hurt when I was riding. The cabin was cozy. But the neighborhood was like a ghost town. The season was ending and the city showed it. The snow was gone around the neighborhood- there were only a few patches here and there. The snow on the slopes were still powdery (yay!) but they had stopped night sessions because of the season ending. That sucked for us 'cause we didn't realize that they closed at 5pm instead of 10pm, so we only got about 3 hours of ride time.
I would post pictures but my laptop got fucked up on the trip and I think I'm going to have to format it. Fuck Vista, real talk. That OS is a piece of shit. Gonna install XP on my laptop since it probably won't be able to handle Windows 7. Siiiiighh all my pictures and music will be gone. :( Oh well. Tomorrow is the ETA for the coilovers, I'm excited to see a gigantic box on my doorstep and double excited to get them installed. And with all that has happened in the past month, it is time to save money again.
By the way, if there's anybody actually reading this, leave a comment or something, heh. I really want to say that I feel like I'm talking to somebody whenever I write (or type), but really, I just feel like I'm talking to myself. Which isn't bad...but isn't good either. :D
