Friday
Umm...we (Jimmy, Kevin, Nancy, George and I) ditched class and went shopping. We were late for class and decided to fuck it and not even go. Actually we had to wait til 11am 'cause Burlington didn't open til then. We just kicked it at the Pavilions plaza drinkin Starbucks and readin up on the economic recession...then we went all out at Burlington's. George bought a suit, Jimmy bought a hankerchief, Kevin bought...I forget, and I bought a Calvin Klein thermal.

...It looks better when I wear it, heh. I had work at night, so I went to work (LOL). After work, I met up with Charles, Wilson, Jimmy and Joe (I feel like I'm missing someone, sorry if I did) at EE. Friday night was a quiet one, I just stayed home and worked on some homework. It's all good 'cause Saturday made up for it.

Saturday
Woke up late around 1140am, was supposed to be at the park at 1130am...but I overslept. Anyways, I went to the park and that ish was HELLA PACKED UP THE ASSSSS; I parked out on the street. We played basketball 'til around 230pm, then I jammed. Picked up some Subway and went home. I enjoyed my Subway sandwich while watching some good ol' CSI: NY. God, I love this show. Anyways, I took a nap and then got ready for Joe, George, and Andy's birthday dinner. Met up with Eddie at Tenju's then went to Joe's to meet up with everyone else.


Dinner at Monterey Hills was pretty good. The prime rib was delicious, and the price can't be beat.

The view wasn't half bad either.

After Monterey Hills, we ended the night at Eddie Ramos' house playing Hold'Em. Yours truly was the winner. Mhmm, you know what it is!

Woke up around 11 'cause I had to go to my Grandpa's. Happy birthday Gong! You're getting older experience-wise, but younger appearance-wise. Heh. And also a shoutout to all the September & October birthday kids in the family! After Grandpa's, I took my sister to Jayvee, then went with my dad to the Honda dealership.

So class...was class..So I just met up with the guys and went to eat Burger King next door. After lunch, I took Wilson home and went home and kicked it til work. Then, I had work (lol). After work, went home, took a shower, went over to George's and watched 'em play some NBALive, and then I went home.

Today
Woke up around 1pm thinking it was 10am. Yea, I know...what the hell?! So I just kicked it at home, washed the dishes for my mom and vacuumed the floors for my dad.



My WeSC Raw Selvedge jeans came in today. They're really nice. Except I wasn't expecting them to be a true fit...but whatever. They're a little long, too. WeSC = We are the Superlative Conspiracy. I have work in about 2 hours. I'll update later if something interesting happens.

Hmm. I woke up early to go to lunch with my grandpa, but apparently I got the dates wrong. It's really NEXT Sunday, so I just went back to sleep. Then I went to Live Oak Park around noon to play some ball (yes, we owned the courts as usual). Then I went home, took a shower, and chilled until 430. What's 430? SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALLLLLL. We went to applebees to watch the Cowboys play the Packers. That wasn't the best decision. The service was horrible, the food was even worse. And they had like 12'' TVs placed in the most inconvenient spots ever. Tony Romo and T.O. got completely shut out. *thumbs down.

Monday
Class 10am-10pm. Enough said. HAHA...After class, I went to EE and met up with Jon, Christine and Jimmy. Chilled there for a minute, and went home.

Today
Work@ 830am. DAMN, I thought that one time a couple of weeks ago was horrible. Today our manager came in four hours into our shift and added a whole list of things to prep...We barely got out by 230pm... After work, I grabbed a quick lunch at McD and then went to the family barber. klsjeadsfkj She messed up my hair. -__-' I need to learn how to speak canto so I can tell 'em what I want. After the haircut, I went home and did homework like a good mofuckin boy. I have to admit though, homework is fun. Aannnd, here I am, getting ready to knock out.

I'm sitting here at Eddie Ramos' pad waiting for them to finish their Hold'em game. It's down to the two giants, Charles Law and Kyle Tsukahira.


I got bored and made this in (hope of) LT's triumphant return to 200+ yard and 10 touchdowns per game (=]). They're still goin' at it... There's a constant switching of chips...Charles goes all in, loses, then Kyle goes all in the next hand, and loses.

Uh, today (Saturday), I woke up around 1130 wanting to go to Jayvee but no one ended up going, not even Jon. So I just kicked it at home til 4 and I went to Live Oak Park to play some ball. As usual, we raped everyone who thought they could beat us. Andy, aka Gasol sick dominated the paint. We left around 730, and I stopped by Subway for a good ol' Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki sandwich. ...took a shower, ate the food while watching House (Dying Changes Everything). Then I picked up Charles and came here to Eddie Ramos' place...and here I am.

Anyways, last night was Friday.
I woke up a little late but managed to get to Jimmy's in time to carpool with everyone. We went to class, took a map test (I forgot where Syria was...and put Afghanistan where Iran is...I know this stuff, wtf!), lectured, then went to eat Wing Stop. Man, I'm still feeling those wings...I'm never eating that much again. I had about 11 wings, then another 10 at home. Ugh. After that, I took a nap at home, then went to work. We got out pretty early today...feels good to leave work early. I went home, took a shower, then went to Marsha's. Damn, her place is always fun. Marsella made orange bang w/ skyy vodka, mango slushie w/ skyy vodka, and something else. They were all bomb. :D So we stayed there chatting and playing rockband til 330AM. And here I am, waiting for the sun to come out.

Hmm, today's class was pretty cool. Probst had us introduce ourselves with something interesting. Over half the class just moved here to California or the United States. This means that us American born kids are going to be graded harder, I suppose. Sighh. Oh well. Public speaking shouldn't be too hard.

After class, I met up with Jimmy, Kevin Tran, Wilson, and Jen...we went to eat Luigi Ortega's across the street from PCC. The environment is real nice, but I didn't see the big deal about the food. The philly cheese steak was bland as hell, and I wasn't quite happy about it. Oh well, food is food. Wilson and I went to Best Buy and bought Ne-Yo's Year of the Gentleman CD. Damn, Ne-Yo is amazing. I dropped Wilson off, then went to Ce Fiore to investigate a very very interesting case. But the evidence left with her friend before I could see her so I couldn't investigate (hehe). I bought some sweet factory candy, too.

Anyways, I kicked it there 'til about 4, then went home to discover - WORK HAS BEEN CALLED OFF! That made my day, seriously. Wilson and Cookie came over to play some rockband and we got to catch up with each other. I haven't seen her in...4 years? Yikes. After they left, I went to EE and met up with Christine, Sherry, Eddie Ramos, Jon, and eventually Joe. We kicked it there 'til about 1230am, then I came home.

So today I went to work, did the usual prep for the rest of the week. Today was really cool. I heart my boss. She bought all of us InNOut today. There's just something about eating InNOut at work that adds so much more YUMM to it. But yea, I cooked glazed pork chops today for a customer, and they loved it. I'm getting better at cooking! Although I'm better at the "gourmet" part, I still have to work on "chef." I mean, what's the point of making food look good when you can't cook it right? :P I got off work around 230pm and went home 'cause I didn't get any responses from my texts. I was hoping to find some people to go to Best Buy with me to get Ne-Yo's new CD. Anyways, I stayed home and did the usual: sleep, watch tv, jerk it, snack, jerk it again. (there, I said it, stop bugging me LOL)

Then Joe asked if I wanted to go to Tenjus, and I did. So I went. LOL. Anyways, I got green tea and popcorn chicken. Ehh so I bit my tongue while eating 'cause I was going to say something...and it finally stopped bleeding after 3 hours.

Hmm. I'll put my thoughts on here 'cause I'm thinking it's more of a global thing than a personal thing. I feel like MDub is slowly falling apart for now. Not in the sense that we're not going to see anyone ever again, but just a lot of people are busy with their own things, that they don't keep up with the group. I don't blame 'em. School's in, everyone has jobs, and we're getting more independent by the minute. It's okay, once holidays come, we'll have the "togetherness" again. Or maybe it's just me...or my phone. I have my own schedule at school, and at work. And none of it matches up with anyone. As for my phone, text messages seem to get lost in there. Lately my texts to 12+ people have only gotten ~2 responses. It kinda depresses me. Oh well.

Woke up late, sat around, went to work. whoopdedoo. I was supposed to go Quach's going away party as the West Co bowling alley after works, but my parents put me on lockdown. I was hoping they'd do something after bowling but they split up, so I just left a text for him. Hopefully he got it 'cause he didn't respond.

Went to school at 8. After class, we went to Pho Huong on Garvey. My god they serve the biggest bowls of pho ever. I wish I had my camera 'cause that thing was seriously gigantic. But I got bun bo hue instead 'cause I wasn't really feelin pho at the time. I wish I did get the pho though. It looked so bomb. After that, I went home and kicked it for a bit. I tried organizing to get people to go to LOP to play some basketball and football, but as we'll see later in the post, I failed. I got 7/8 people to go to LOP but only 3 showed up on time, and the rest came whenever. We just ran around throwing the football and we caught a game of basketball. After LOP, I went home, took a shower, went to Ralphs and bought a bag of ice, then went to Marsha's for Rockband night<3. It's funny 'cause I never even played LOL. Did I mention Marsella makes the BOMBEST Strawberry Daquiri and Pina Colada ever?! I can drink it all night long...and I did =]. Pedro the chihuahua was anal as ever, and winnie the pooh was chill as hell (as always). We stayed there til about 5am, then we left, and headed home.

I woke up to go to Jayvee, but as I walked out the door, my dad said I had to go somewhere else...so I didn't get to go to Jayvee. Apparently I missed out 'cause Jon said it was real fun. Sighh. Whatever. There's always next Saturday. I stayed at home for most of the day. When 7 rolled around, I got ready and went to Marsha's to meet up with everyone before heading out to DV8. Marsella&Andrew decided not to go so it was down to a couple of us. But we still had fun. Umm we were at DV8 for awhile...10pm-2am? Yea...we went back to Marsha's and Marsella had cooked up spaghetti to eat. It was oh so delicious. We kicked it there for a bit, then split and went home...

sunday
This was a day for errands. I went to office depot, washed the Lexus, went to drop off some packages, went to the supermarket to buy some food, went to Costco to get essentials. Who knew school supply shopping could be so fun? Anyways, I went to LOP around 6 and played some basketball and football. Marsha, Marsella, Nancy and one other girl showed up to play some basketball but we were already playing football (sorry!). Soooo they left, and then we left...and here I am.

what the fuck was i thinking

Monday is now Hell Day (H-DAY). I go to school at 10am and stay in the area either eating or in class til 10pm. In total I have 10 hours of classes, 2 hours of break. I don't know what I was thinking when I registered. Kill me now.

10:20am-12:00pm
Speech 1 with Probst. This guy is chill as hell. He's a veteran of the Vietnam War and would always ALWAYS have a story to tell during class. Monday, he told a story about how kids threw firecrackers at the marines just to watch them duck and cover in the slime covered gutters. He's such a trip. He's great at public speaking and is really animated when he gets into his stories. I met quite a few people too. One in particular sparked my interest, but we'll save that for another story. Thumbs up for this class.

2:20pm-5:50pm
Theatre Arts with Forbes. He loves listening to himself talk. Especially when he's ordering someone to leave the class for falling asleep. He's monotonous and dredges on and on about how he loves the history of cinema. I can't wait for the movies to start...just so I can stop hearing him. As for classmates, it's a lecture hall. I don't know anybody...and hopefully Celia got to add the class, so at least I'll have someone to chill with before class starts. The rest of the class are just fobs, literally.

6:00pm-9:50pm
Physical Science with ...I forgot. Anyways, he seems real chill. He has a bunch of degrees and stuff, and he's an ordained priest. Only thing is, after many years working for the Church, he asked to be removed from the "brotherhood" because he's...homosexual. Overall, we just talked about the syllabus and what to expect for class, then we watched a film called Flatliners. It had young Keifer, Julia Roberts, Kevin Bacon, William Baldwin as the main characters. It was a great film; I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I suggest you watch it if you want some old school flicks. Films = movies that make you think. Movies = movies that entertain.

Wednesday
Speech 1 with Probst. He talked about going on patrol with two ex-VietCong's (they changed sides LOL) and how the patrol was supposed to unload their guns on breaks and stuff. So Probst was sitting there eating whatever's left of his lunch, then saw the two VCs slowing sliding their magazines into their guns, all the while looking around with suspicious looks on their faces. Then they cocked their guns and sat there with the same look. The patrol set off again and Probst had his gun loaded and bullet chambered the whole damn time. When they came back to town, one of the VCs "accidentally" shot off a round, 'cause he "forgot" about the chambered bullet. Yea, the story doesn't make much sense...until I tell you that we were talking about accidental shootings/deaths from a gun, 'cause the shooter didn't know there was a bullet in the chamber.

Then I had work 6pm-10pm, went to Garden Cafe to eat with 12DEEP MWxKFC. You know what it is. And now, (every superwoman needs her superman) Here I Am. :D

Um, I believe I slept in, then went to the mall and kicked it with some people, then went home to wait for my 50" Plasma TV to be delivered. It finally came around 530pm and that shit is HEAVY AS HELL....not that I thought it was going to be light.


Now we just need HD Channels and everything will be great. Later on that night, Joe came by with Kevin Tran and Jimmy and we went to Noodle World and ate some (surprisingly) BOMB PHO. Oh my laawd it was amazing. Then I went home and slept. =]

Saturday -
I woke up at 830am 'cause I thought the fantasy football draft would be at 9am, but it wasn't, so I went back to sleep 'til 11 or so. I woke up with the intention of going to Jayvee but no one wanted to go besides Jon and Joanna...so I just stayed home. The rest of the afternoon just had me planning for the night. I wanted to go kick it at Northridge, but no one else wanted to go...so I settled to go pick Eddie up and go clubbing. So after a whole bunch of debate, Shawn, Nancy and Marsha went with me to pick Eddie up. After a 40 minute drive, we kicked it at Eddie's for about 20 minutes, then off we went to DV8 at Level3.

God, it was so hot in DV8. No room to dance, no room to do anything. Jeesussss, but the music was great and everyone had fun. After DV8, we went to the usual spot, DENNYs! But this time it was different, everything was delicious, even the water was! After Dennys, I dropped off Marsha and Nancy, then Eddie decided to crash at my place...we knocked out at 5am.

Sunday -
Woke up around 11am. Eddie and I played some CoD4 then got ready and went to the mall with Marsha. We ended up just hanging out at Ce Fiore. Joe and both Kevins came after a bit, then Marsha went shopping with her mom...and Eddie, Joe and I went to JRockets to give Shawn his yogurt. Then Joe and I left; Eddie stayed behind with Nancy and Marsella 'cause he needed to get his hair cut. I came home then got ready to head out to Joe's for the Fantasy Football Draft. I ended up doing a whole bunch of chores. But yea, I went to Joe's around 730, but not before stopping at BK for a whopper and fries LOL. Then....we kicked it there doing the draft and watching the Chi Bears vs Ind Colts game and then we left at 10. And now...(here i am, every superwoman needs her superman).

So a couple of the guys and I went to Melrose today. We went to Crooks&Castles first; Kevin bought a Blood Money shirt. Then we hit up Kidrobot, bought a shitload of Dunny's, Zoomies, Yummy Breakfast Keychains, etc. Quach wanted to return a shirt he bought for his sister but the dicks at Kidrobot said they don't accept returns on sale items - "Look, it even says on the receipt." Assholes. So we were just chilling there and the workers kept walkin around thinkin we were gonna jack shit...HAHA punkass.
As for me, I just bought a Yummy Breakfast keychain. You pick a box out of a box, so it's totally random and you won't know what you'll get. Some people got strawberries, donuts w/ frosting, pizza, grapefruit, etc...and this is what I got:
A plain donut. LOL. After that, I went home to eat dinner, went to Jimmy's to play Madden09. I fucking hate that game. I don't know what I'm doing 3/4 of the time. Oh well. I'll stick to FPS and RTS....Sports games are boring. Peace!

First Day

First day of school! I only had one class though, and it was speech. The teacher is real chill and he's an ex-marine that fought in Vietnam. First Vietnamese name he hit on roll call, he asked him if their dads used to throw firecrackers at the marines. LOL WTF! I fucking cracked up so badly, I had to hide behind my hat. Turns out that some kids in Vietnam lit firecrackers and threw em onto the streets just to watch the marines duck and cover in the gutters...and the gutters are filled with trash and slime. Poor marines. Funny kids. Oh well. The class itself looks cool too, everyone is chill, no stupid whiteboy making stupid comments this year. Let's hope it stays that way. 3/4 cute girls in the class too. Esp. one but her boyfriend is there so...

I have 3 other classes, Mondays are 10am-9pm, and Friday is just History 8am-12pm.

But yea, Speech is chill as hell and I think I'll have real fun in this class. After class, I met up with some of the guys and ate Zankous. Went home, took a nap, then went out to play ball at 7. Played til around 930, then I came home, took a shower, ate, and here I am.

Sunday -
I left off on a Saturday post, so I'll start the update with Sunday. I got to finally play basketball with basketball shoes! (Yea, I know, right? Goddamn!) Those shoes are really comfortable and I forgot how important basketball shoes are to your ankles...almost rolled my left one playing, but the shoe took care of it. After the park, I went home to shower, then met up everyone up at Kyle's. We headed to Boiling Crab and on the way I stopped by Marsha & Marcella's place to pick up my iPod. Shawn and Nancy were there playing Rockband and whatever. They were supposed to come with us, but they flaked! LOL It's all good though. Off we went to...almost an hour and 30 minute wait at Boiling Crab. But the wait was damn worth it. Yum yum yum. After that, I took Charles and Jimmy back to their cars, and then went to 7-11 to pick up ice for Marsha. Umm...then I went to their house and played rockband and gears of war. It was cool cause it was like a mini kick back! Shawn, Nancy, Kyle, Eddie, Andrew, Marsha, Marsella, and little Tiffany was there. We all had a blast...Marsella made virgin&nonvirgin (hehe) strawberry margaritas and pina coladas for everyone, and we just chilled playin xbox and wii. All in all, it was a great day.

Monday -
Just chilled at home for the longest time' cause everyone wasn't in the area or working. Real fun began around 7/8pm for the MW/KFC BBQ. I got there right when Eddie and Joe got there, and I helped them bring a shitload of stuff they bought for the BBQ. (Good lookin out guys. I owe you one...or just some $$) We kicked it there for a bit waiting for people to show up. When 9 rolled around I migrated from the BBQ Grill to the living room to watch OTH. Damn Jamie is a pimp and Grandpa Dan is a thug. Nanny Carrie is a psycho bitch that's not that cute/hot anymore. Anyways, we just kicked it there talkin about whatever and havin fun, I ended the night playing a game of Mafia and then watching the rest. Had to leave early 'cause I had work in the morning.

Tuesday -
Today was the LONGEST day of work I have ever had. Work was so slow, literally. All of my coworkers, including me, were working like snails...don't know why. Anyways, got home, ate some Ramen, and then took a nap til 7. Then Jimmy calls and says they're at Tenjus so I went. I invited Allen over and he came around 30 minutes later. First time I've seen him in forever. He's skinny as hell now. He says he's back here for good...let's hope so. I hope he gets everything straightened out too. And theeeen I came home and my parents and I had the longest talk about what car I should be looking for. I'll just give the manufacturers. Honda, Mazda, Toyota. TADAA, gives you a lot to work with doesn't it? One more hint - $18-22k.
