I just came back from my second trip to Mt High. Damn, it was PACKED today. We got there at 6 and didn't start a run until 7... the Blue Mountain Express Lift took 15-20 minutes to get on because there was no one regulating the flow of people getting onto the lift. Regardless, we still got a good 4-5 runs in. I might be going again Thursday just to make up for lost runs due to the insane amount of people tonight. Besides, I gotta get as much as I can before school starts!! Then it's hopefully one big trip to Mammoth during some weekend. Hahah I'm so excited, my face gets all xD everytime we pull up to Mt. High. I'm like a schoolkid getting ready to go on a field trip. Ahh I love being on the mountain.

Honey, I'm homeeeee. It feels so good to be back on the snow. I'm alone with my thoughts with nothing but music, the chilly wind, and the snow. There's no place I'd rather be but on the slopes, snowboarding because I've never been so relaxed. I really can't stress how focused and relaxed I become when I snowboard. Too bad I can't get this way when I study or do work, no matter how hard I try. It must be something about snowboarding. When most people get an adrenaline rush, I just get calm and focused. Not that I don't have shit tons of fun, but still, you know.
I took these pictures with my cell so forgive me if they're blurry. I took these two pictures on my last run, heh. This is where home is.
I'll try to record a run for the hell of it :)
My lifestyle needs to change. At least for the time being. I don't know how some of my friends do it. But I'll have to figure it out. Tonight we went out for Boiling Crab, and I dropped $45 for Sara and I. I literally felt that money getting pulled out of my bank account. I can't say it was worth it because food disappears real quick when I'm around haha, but it was good, real good. It's okay, I saved up for that meal. It just means I won't be going out as much (at all). I'll figure it out. I always end up doing so, somehow.
Everything will be fine in due time.

Some friends of mine went to try this place out and came back with exciting reviews about it, so I, along with my gf and friends, went to see what the big deal was. I'm not very good with reviews so I'll just tell you what happened. Saturday night, around 10pm. I drove from the 626 to Milk in about 20 minutes (traffic wasn't bad at all) and found parking within 5 minutes. I guess I was lucky because there was barely any street parking available. DON'T PARK ON RESIDENTIAL STREETS SURROUNDING THE BLOCK BECAUSE THEY WILL TICKET YOU
Anyway, we got in line (if it could even be called a line) and ordered. It was literally 5 minutes from the time we got in line to finding a table to sit and enjoy our yummy desserts. The menu was extensive and everything looked so good, heh. But I ordered their Mint Chocolate Crunch Shake and Sara had the Blue Velvet Cake, and my two other friends ordered several smaller things, like a Strawberry Shortcake Ice Cream Bar, Caramal Apples, and Mini-Red-Velvet Cupcake. The Blue Velvet Cake was really sweet, but it was gooooood. The bread was still moist and the icing was still soft. My Mint Chocolate Crunch Shake was the perfect balance of milk, ice cream, mint, and chocolate. The crunch part came from... I don't know, but with every sip you get a crunch with it! It was fun to drink, and not to mention very good to drink! The place itself is kinda small, smaller than I thought it to be. But they make it work. The tables and seats are ehh, but hey, you're there to enjoy the desserts. I don't expect anyone to go to a place like Milk for the ambiance.
I wouldn't mind going back once a month to indulge in their (literally) sweet, sweet menu. And all this coming from someone who hates everything pastry and cake...

Big changes coming for me. Okay well not that big, but my parents are wanting to switch rooms with me. They want to move downstairs and me to move upstairs to their room. It's something about fengshui and how it's better that way. I'm okay with whatever. I mean, I get a bigger room with WINDOWS! Best of all, I get a chance to furnish and decorate a room that I want, with what I want, instead of hand-me-down furniture and picked-from-the-curb dressers. I'm excited for that part. The moving shit around part...not so much.
