Traditional First Year Anniversary Gifts-

Sunday, November 8, 2009 was my one year anniversary with Sara. I had a blast and so did she. I've always wanted to take her to
Wurstküche, a german sausage place in Downtown, and we finally got the chance to go on Sunday. So we ate there for lunch. I got the filipino sausage and chicken & apple spices sausage. Sara got Rattlesnake & Rabbit sausage. So yummy. Their fries are to die for. Check it out, I really recommend it. The restaurant atmosphere is different than what a normal person our age would not expect. I really enjoy just chilling there as the music, people, waiters, are all real chill. Plus, the fact that it's smack-dab in the middle of the Arts District really makes your time there enjoyable.

After eating lunch, we went to the Griffith Observatory. The fact that admission is free to the public was more than enough motivation for us to park downhill and make the walk to the top. It's really a sight to behold. It's a mansion on top of a mountain. When you get up there, there's a bunch of exhibits that also include guides, which are free as well. Too awesome. Sara and I walked around, climbed to the top of the observatory and enjoyed whatever view the Los Angeles smog allowed us to.
After the Observatory, we went home, took a nap, and then went to The Melting Pot for dinner. It was my first time eating Fondue and I really enjoyed it. Expensive, but good.
